Overview :
• The promotion of button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) cultivation under natural conditions serves as a means of diversifying rural livelihoods.
• Household-level technical training is offered, accompanied by the supply of high-quality spawned compost and casing soil to facilitate cultivation.
• Growers are organized to enhance marketing efforts and strengthen the community's agricultural network.
• Specialized training sessions are extended to Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Farmer's Clubs, organized by various Departments, Organizations, and NGOs upon request.
• The HRG Compost preparation unit in Village Dhangiara, P.O. Jahal, Tehsil Chachiot, Distt. Mandi, H.P, ensures the availability of quality spawned compost with casing soil for cultivation year-round.
